Muntu
"The flash and fire of Muntu Dance Theatre embodies the simple, beautiful truth that the spirit of dancing - the spirit in dancing and the spirit for dancing - is universal and irresistible."

Arts Education - Arts for Community Empowerment (ACE)

ACE programs are based on a partnership between Muntu, neighborhood residents, and local public, private or nonprofit organizations. We all collaborate in conceiving, designing and implementing services that respond to the unique needs of the area. Our programs for youth are particularly popular and flexible enough to offer a range of choices.

Any institution, organization or group can invite Muntu to work with them in providing our Arts for Community Empowerment services to a defined body of participants. This includes educational and religious institutions, libraries, local school councils, public agencies, community centers, social service providers, block clubs and other arts organizations.

Organizations may request custom-designed programs ranging from a single two-hour workshop to a combination of activities covering several weeks at various sites.
